So with this post the outfit details will obviously be linked below but more importantly I really wanted the jewelry to steal the spotlight of this post. I met Michelle and Sayra the sisters and creators behind the Bracha brand a few weeks back and I have to say they both have hearts of gold. In Hebrew "Bra.cha" means Blessing. The main purpose behind there company is that when you wear a piece of their jewelry you are reminded of how beautiful you are. A portion of each sale is donated to the A21 Campaign. It's a campaign dedicated to helping put an end to sex slavery and human trafficking. Something that many people may not realize is that there are more slaves in the world today than ever before in human history. There is an estimated 27 million men, woman, and children that are being held captive and are forced against there will. The average age of trafficking is 12 years old. This is an unimaginable life that these victims have to go through and sadly many of them will never be rescued. Every thirty seconds a victim is captured. The A21 campaign helps to educate, protect victims in safe houses as well as prosecute traffickers. Like most women I do have a love for fashion and jewelry but my love for helping a needing cause is greater. Being able to wear something beautiful but then also know that it is helping with such a terrible crime is a double bonus. I pray one day that there is no such thing as human trafficking but until then we can help support such campaigns as well as make people more aware.
