Ok, with the wedding coming up and a move in the near future, I have been doing some major deep cleaning! Getting rid of things... re-purposing things, etc. in my hopes of trying to find a purpose for my huge collection of old vintage tees, especially the ones that are very large and I have been banned from wearing them out in public. Until now they have only served the the purpose of accompanying my also ever so large pajama pants. I came up with the idea to make some of them into dresses. It's super easy and took me all of about five minutes! I started with an old Bob Dylan tee... It was long and frumpy but I loved the artwork on the front and have wanted to wear it for some time!! I chopped off the sleeves as well as the bottom hem line making it slightly shorter in the front and leaving it longer in the back! I layered it up with a free people dress and some chunky babbles, threw on some boots and called it a day! It was extra comfy but more so than anything, I was so excited to finally be able to wear out my Mr. Dylan with pride!! Have any extra large tees??? Turn them into dresses as well and share your photos on Instagram (@thehappygoose or #happygoosecrafts) I'd love to see what you come up with!! Happy Monday Friends!
