They said I Do...

Last Friday night we packed our bags and drove down to Palestine, Texas for a fun Wedding Weekend. Jeremy was a groomsmen (a pretty cute one I might add) for one of his good lifelong friends. The wedding was nothing short of beautiful. We were surrounded by beautiful wildlife, little gravel hidden paths and sweet tucked away cabins hidden in between the beautiful gardens. It was so good catching up with old friends. We ended the night dancing under the tin roof strung with pretty twinkly strung lights. Here's to another wonderful Weekend spent with friends.
Blessed Beyond words for this Sweet Man.

Party Much?

This week and last week have been super busy. I can't even believe it's already Thursday. Ahh!!!
I feel like last week was non stop. We had my Dad's Birthday, my Parents 25th Wedding Anniversary, Mothers Day, and then this week one of Me & Jeremy Friends from high school is getting married so tonight we are going to dinner with everyone and then Friday we will drive out to where they are getting married to stay the weekend and Celebrate with everyone! I am super excited for a fun weekend but I'm also thinking Sunday is looking pretty good right now.
I will make sure its dedicated to nothing but being lazy and laying around while watching movies with Jeremy and the Pups!!
We haven't had a good snuggle day in awhile!
Hope everyone's Mother's day was lovely and your week so far is going great!!

Someone has a Secret...

Meet Jagger...
He's my 120 pound White Lab who is always up for some snuggling and can usually be found with his blankie. Yes a blankie! He has carried a blankie everywhere since the night we brought him home. He is the weirdest most sweetest dog ever and I think he might even start speaking english soon with all his weird noises he's been making lately. But behind those sappy puppy dog eyes and those squishy lovable lumps he has a secret.
He is a hoarder!
You heard me right.. a hoarder.
He has always had this habit of getting strange objects throughout the house and hoards them under his big paws. I've always taken pictures and just sent them to Jeremy but until yesterday when I found him snuggled up with a clothes hanger I never really thought wow I bet I have so many pictures of him with his random little treasures he finds throughout the house.
So now that the secrets out, I thought I would just share a few pictures of Jagger & his little findings.
Little Jagger discovering his love for objects. His Beloved Blankie of coarse and the start of his Hoarding.
A Potatoe? A Snake Stuffed Toy. A Shoe.
Bugs Bunny? He used to carry this little Fuzzy green Guy everywhere even outside, when it was time to go to bed,  even putting it by his food bowl when he ate. Oh another really funny thing he used to have an obsession with ponytail holders. He used to have to have it on his arm at all times, or he would put his paw in your lap until you put it back on for him. He especially wanted it on when he went for walks? I know he's weird! And then hoarding the remote of coarse for the 1,000th time. If you can't find the remote find Jagger and he will most likely have it.
Frisbee. Small Elephant Toy from Meme. Oven Mitt. Nail Stuff.
And then this was him yesterday just snuggling with a Clothes hanger?
I know there are so many more things I didn't take pictures of
but I just thought this was so funny I had to share it with you.

Our Life Lately According to our I-Phone..

This is how Jagger sleeps by the way.
All 120 pounds snuggled right up on top of his Momma!
He does keep me extra warm and toasty though.

This morning I was on Facebook and I read this...

"If it doesn't CHALLENGE you, it doesn't CHANGE you."

I immediately smiled and thought wow.. that is so my life right now.
Ever since I quit my job a few months back I knew there was a calling for me to do "something".
What that "something" is I am still figuring out but I feel in my heart what I am doing is right.
Since I made the change and quit I have been constantly Challenging my self to take my self out of my own comfort zone and in this process it has changed me. I have met people I probably wouldn't have otherwise had a chance to meet. I have had new opportunity's come about. But most importantly I have been pushing my own personal self growth and I can honestly say that within the 5 short months of this year I feel like I have grown more than ever before. I have learned that every person in our lives, new or old, are meant to teach us something. I am truly listening to people now and with that I myself am learning new things. One of my most biggest beliefs is that a person should never stop growing, You should always constantly be challenging yourself to become a better you and do better. A lot of times I think we can get comfortable within our everyday lives and our relationships with others more importantly. If everything is always staying the same its going to be harder to grow in your relationships this way.
I love this quote...

"Growth starts with a decision to move beyond your Present Circumstances."

Sometimes you have to take yourself out of your comfort zone, rather it be with the people around you, something you're scared of, following your heart even something as simple as going to a new restaurant. This is something Jeremy & I have really been working on as well and I really think doing things like this has the ability to create the best relationships or even make current relationships better. Growing together & Creating new circumstances and in some funny instances of trying new things, you'll probably get some good stories out of it! I don't want to ever be comfortable because being comfortable isn't challenging. Its easy and when things are easy. Change usually isn't going to happen as easily.

Last Friday Night was Relay for Life.
We have been so lucky to be a part of a great team for three years now.
The people and stories are always inspiring but also unimaginable and heartbreaking.
The whole track is lit up with luminaries in Honor or in Memory of people who have battled their hard fight with cancer. This is something Jeremy & I both hold very close to our hearts being as we have had so many close friends and family members who have battled with cancer and sadly some who have passed on because of this terrible disease. We walked in memory for all of you and we also walked and prayed for some of you battling your fight right now.
We love you and we are praying for you.
I hate you Cancer and all you have taken from Me & Others.
I pray one day there will be a world without Cancer.
Its 2012 people, we've got to be getting close.

But instead of leaving you with a sad post I will leave you with something that made me laugh...
Yess... This is indeed what we look like when we get blinded by the camera flash!
I Hope everyone had a Wonderful Weekend.
